SkyWay project creation is coming close to its commercial implementation. For this purpose, the company-developer of the technology is developing its production facilities: in September of this year, a new production building was commissioned, the construction of another large workshop in the Minsk free-economic-zone continues. But for transition from experimental production to serial production it is also necessary to ensure uninterrupted supply of necessary raw materials and components, which requires the support of world leaders in their respective industries.
Work in this direction continues, and on 8th October, the General Designer of SkyWay Technologies Co. Anatoliy Yunitskiy held negotiations with one of such companies. The creator of the SkyWay technology introduced the representatives of the Belgian company Bekaert with the EcoTechnoPark, after which the guests visited the production of the rolling stock in Shabany, concluding the business meeting with a fruitful discussion of the technical issues in the Minsk office of the string transport developer.
N. V. Bekaert S. A. is the largest producer of special coated steel wire and steel products. To date, metal cord of Bekaert production is used in every third car tire.
