From 18 to 21 September, in Berlin, at the Messe Berlin Exhibition Center, there is being held the international transport exhibition Innotrans 2018. For the first time, the high-speed unibus model Unilet U4-362, one of the SkyWay new transport modules, has been presented to the public at this exhibition.
The novelty is a six-seat high-speed transport module, which has unique aerodynamic characteristics, close to the theoretical limit: its coefficient of aerodynamic resistance Cx equals with 0.06. The estimated speed is 500 km/h with an energy consumption of 0.93 kg/100 pass. × km in fuel equivalent. At a speed of 100 km/h, the fuel consumption is less than 0.1 kg /100 pass. × km. These figures will be a record for a high-speed small capacity wheeled vehicle.

At Innotrans 2018, String Technologies has also presented an eighteen-seat unicar which passed the full range of tests and certification, and is intended for urban passenger traffic at speeds of up to 150 km/h. This vehicle is equipped with only sitting places, it has a higher level of comfort and safety. Unicar is a champion of efficiency in its class: its energy consumption in the fuel equivalent is 0.12 kg /100 pass. × km (at a speed of 100 km/h).
