On 15 November 2018, the correspondents of the Japanese TV company TV Tokyo Corporation visited the SkyWay project organization. The visit of guests from the land of the rising sun was preceded by their acquaintance with the SkyWay technology at the InnoTrans 2018 exhibition in September this year. It was there that the representatives of TV Tokyo for the first time appreciated the flagship of the SkyWay model range — a high-speed unibus Unilёt capable of transporting passengers at speeds of up to 500 km/h.
During the visit, the guests visited the design offices, workshops of the experimental production, as well as the EcoTechnoPark, where there was organized an excursion for them, which was personally conducted by the SkyWay General Designer Anatoliy Yunitskiy.
When asked about the purpose of their visit to Belarus, the guests noted the following:
“Currently, Japan is experiencing a kind of “depression”, due to the lag of its economic growth rates from its neighboring countries, China and South Korea. Therefore, we have arrived in Belarus for the inspiration for Japan.”
